My Story

Michaël Nadjarian
Private Chef & Gourmet Caterer in Dordogne – Founder of Maison La Roque
I’m Michaël Nadjarian, founder of Maison La Roque — a culinary venture born from a journey rich in passion, travel, and meaningful encounters. Originally from the South of France, between Aix-en-Provence and Marseille, I grew up in a culture where food is all about sunshine, sharing, and generosity.
Trained in traditional French restaurants, I refined my craft in luxury hotels and Michelin-starred establishments, both in France and abroad. As a chef in a one-star Michelin restaurant, I learned the importance of detail, precision, and emotion in every dish.
My experiences have taken me around the world — from Asia to Australia, and across Europe — enriching my cuisine with a variety of flavors, techniques, and influences. Today, I blend this global perspective with my Provençal roots and my deep connection to the Périgord terroir to offer a tailor-made cuisine that is both authentic and contemporary.
Now settled with my family in La Roque-Gageac, in the heart of the Périgord Noir, I created Maison La Roque to share a vision of gastronomy that is elegant, sincere, and accessible:
– Private chef services, for intimate and gourmet moments
– High-end catering, to elevate your private or professional events
– Personalized cooking classes, to celebrate and pass on local products
Maison La Roque is about generous, vibrant cuisine — rooted in tradition, enriched by travel, and designed to bring people together around the table — from those who grow and produce, to those who cook, and those who savor.
